Mac OSX iMail

Configuration

  1. From the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
  2. Click the Internet icon.
  3. Select the Email tab.
  4. Select Mail for the "Default E-mail Reader".
  5. Make sure there is no check by "Use iTools E-mail account".
  6. Please enter your e-mail address by "E-mail Address". (Example: username@alleganyinternet.net)
  7. "Incoming Mail Server" should read mail.alleganyinternet.net
  8. Account type is POP.
  9. Please enter your userid by "User Account ID". (Example: johndoe)
  10. Please enter your password by "Password".
  11. "Outgoing Mail Server" should read mail.alleganyinternet.net

To use your email account, connect the Ibook to the internet and then launch the Mail program located in the Applications folder which is accessible by clicking on the Macintosh HD icon.
