Dear Valued Allegany Internet Customer:

Thank you for bearing with us with the transition of the email. We hope you enjoy the new features such as anti-spam and anti-virus built in.

The next and final step is to make the change to our new dialup access number from the old number your computer dialed to get on the Internet. From October 18th through Friday, October 29th both the old dialup numbers and the new dialup numbers below will be available. We urge you to switch to your new dialup number as soon as possible to avoid any last minute problems. Detailed below are instructions on how to do this.

The new number to set your computer to dial is listed below. If you are not sure if a number is a local call from your house, please contact your local phone company to find out if it is. If the local phone company determines that none of the numbers listed below are local calls, please send us your name, phone number and city/state so that we can research it.

Windows 95/98 Users

1. Double click My Computer
2. Double click Dial-Up Networking
3. Click the connection icon with the right mouse button, and then choose Properties.
4. In the Phone Number field, type the new access number exactly as you would dial it on your phone.
5. Click OK

Windows XP Users
1. From the Start menu, click Connect To, and choose your Allegany Inernet connection.
2. Click on Properties.
3. Delete the contents on the Phone number field, and type your new access number.
4. Click OK.
